Isaiah “Zay” Saunders
Ahoj!
I’m a Rhode Island–based Director of Photography and founder of Zzzaydream Media—a visual résumé that began as a meek high school photography blog in 2016. With a background in Rhetoric & Theatre from Bates College, and formal training at FAMU International in Prague, I bring both narrative instinct and technical craft to every frame.
My work spans all sub-genres of the industry. I've had the privilege of collaborating with brands and institutions such as the Boston Celtics, The Big 12, CVS, Four Seasons, Big Nice Studio, and numerous talented artists and musicians across the country—delivering meaningful visual content from concept to final cut. I’m also a proud partner with AMORE Weddings.
At the core of everything I do is a simple mission: to preserve life’s most fleeting moments through compelling storytelling. Whether behind or in front of the camera, I strive to create work that feels intimate, vibrant, and unforgettable.
When I’m not on set, you can find me at surprise friend gatherings, chasing live music, playing sub-average golf, exploring new places around the globe, or proudly repping my sacred Bills Mafia.
