Isaiah “Zay” Saunders
Ahoj!
I’m a Rhode Island–based Director of Photography and founder of Zzzaydream Media—a visual résumé that began as a humble high school photography blog in 2016. With a background in Rhetoric and Theatre from Bates College and formal training at FAMU International in Prague, I bring both narrative instinct and technical craft to every frame.
My work spans the worlds of documentary, music videos, and commercials. I've had the privilege of collaborating with brands and institutions like the Boston Celtics, CVS, Four Seasons, Cornell University, Big Nice Studio, and countless talented artists and musicians across the east coast—delivering meaningful visual content from concept to final cut.
At the core of everything I do is a simple mission: to preserve life’s most fleeting moments through compelling, cinematic storytelling. Whether behind the camera or in front of it, I strive to create work that feels intimate, vibrant, and unforgettable.
When I’m not on set, you can find me coaching football, chasing live music, playing sub-average golf, exploring new places, or proudly repping my sacred Bills Mafia.
